A mattress cover from which a kitten-sized grey tail is protruding, coincidentally, because there is definitely not a kitten lying in wait in the place where the mattress cover flops over the mattress. It was somebody else who did that.

All Force use can be summed up under four overlapping categories. The first is the manipulation of physics. This category includes, but is not limited to, telekinesis, which produces and alters gravity; lightning, which produces a form of electricity (but remains partly as pure Force energy as well, to an extent depending on the wielder’s personality and their skill with the technique, allowing it to behave unpredictably and disrupt alchemical effects); and the forms of stealth and illusion that bend light rather than perception alone. Uses of the Force that merely manipulate the lesser forces can—with sufficient power or skill—be done through holograph, while actual production of energy requires physical presence. The second is the manipulation of mind. Empathy, Force persuasion, and the more common forms of stealth and illusion fall into this category. The radius affected depends entirely on the extent of your focus and mental awareness. Most can only affect those in front of them, and passively sense a bit further than that, but someone truly exemplary can reach across a fleet.
