DESIGN BIO: SKULLFACE is a design leader who defines and elevates Brand and Marketing experiences for technology companies. She works as a visual designer, art director, front-end engineer, and brand strategist. She likes kerning pairs as much as parallelism as much as semantic markup as much as halftones. Through people management and design operations, mentorship as an experienced IC, or taking on a consulting project, Skully helps lead design and engineering teams toward business success and collaborative creative health. ARTIST BIO: SKULLFACE is a designer and visual artist who dual wields compassion and cuteness. She explore themes of love, justice, and identity as a queer Latina with graphic shapes, fun color, and a little cheek. Skullface’s work mixes digital illustration with creative printmaking media to mirror her whimsical and radical interior world. She leaves a trail of glitter in her wake from her home studio in Cleveland, Ohio.

# Design leader + visual artist dual wielding compassion + cuteness ♥ I’m @skullface, Skully short! I’m a creative generalist always trying to leave things better than I found them. ## Design philosophy I define and elevate Brand and Marketing experiences for developer productivity companies. I’m a visual designer, art director, front-end engineer, and brand strategist. I practice design as code, as content, as storytelling, as visual expression, as holistic end-to-end experience. To create their best work, I believe designers need psychological safety that can only come from mutual trust. I aim to foster that environment in the teams I help lead. ## Art practice My pieces most often explore themes of love, justice, and identity as a queer 🌈 Latina 🇵🇷 into cats 🐱, video games 🎮, k-pop 🕺, and the Cleveland Cavaliers 🏀. I make prints, zines, and stickers with digital illustration, block printing, and risograph out of my home studio and Zygote Press.
