We chose to select 2 different sources and clicked on Add source twice to bring up 2 sub menus. For one, we chose a list, and the other chose a custom feed. When you're done adding however many you want, click next.

Now we're onto the last menu for creating our Mixed Feed. Here, in the "Custom title" field, you can give it whatever name you feel like. You can also select what width you'd prefer the column as well as what content you do or don't want to see. Last step is "Create Column" and you're done!
