Real breakthrough — I can now extract genuine amplification curves. Using the little-endian float grid (values end at the constant 0x45 exponent byte), I found 10 smooth rising curves plus many flat baseline traces. They cluster in groups of 3 at a 192-byte record stride. Let me extract them, check whether the within-group triplets are one well vs. distinct wells, and plot over time.

I've essentially cracked it: the readings are little-endian float32 (exponent byte 0x45 is the last byte of each 4-byte value — that's why big-endian bounced and a 1-byte-shifted little-endian read is smooth). The exponent bytes are constant, so I can find the exact float grid by locating the constant 0x45 bytes. Let me map that.

close but not quite. overall geometry looks good, but it's got some like posts sticking out the bottom? and the tapped holes don't look correct. this is a machined part starting from the acrylic block. the machining operations in the real world will be:

1. rough drill tapped holes

2. end mill to mill flat bottom in the holes, halfway through the block

3. tap the threads in the holes

4. drill through the bottom of the ports, centered with a small drill bit

make a blender file for the following part:

3/4" this acrylic, 2" x 1" length and width
