hi chat ive just experienced a vrchat thing that almost straight up killed me irl /pos ok ok. so. in the vrc bar world we occasionally go to, the drinks actually put visual and audio effects on ur screen based on how much you have and if you have too much at once you slowly black out and wake up in another part of the map anyway autumn said that before i go they wanted to give me a parting drink so i follow lyr back out to the bar am given the drink it has a blackout amount of karmotrine (the Alcohol in question) in it and autumn is just kissing me the whole way theough the animation just showering me in kisses while i black out directly in front of lyr and i hohbh my god ghgg >//////< im Fag

local obsidian document about the fictional concept of a power called "will", set in the universe where my characters reside all who live in the world have one metaphysical "organ" more vital than the rest: their soul. this is because the soul houses their **Will**. **Will** is, in short, the power to enact change upon the world around oneself. it's a rather simple concept on its surface. if you really want a point of comparison, well... does "DETERMINATION" ring any bells? something like that. except without the spacetime powers. it's just... "Power", in general. long ago (but not too long), everyone in the world had - to oversimplify - a mass **Awakening**. that's what it's called in the history books. folks started realizing, one by one, that their **Will** extended beyond just themselves. you would think this would go horribly wrong somehow, right? well, it turns out the people with the most powerful **Will** of all are usually freak perverts. --- what qualifies to have **Will**? anything with a pulse, really. and lots of things without one. in recent years, even plant life has come to develop a **Will** of its own - though it's not known if this "Awakening" is natural or the result of a sapient being's own **Will** being enacted upon it. anthromorphs on earth weren't the first to have access to their **Will**, actually. lots of other miscellaneous bullshit across the universe - gods, [[angels|(this one links to another page)]], beasts and monsters and the like. it wasn't until the **Awakening** that the common people did, too. frankly, it's probably for the best that common folk can access their **Will**. before it happened, bright-eyed adventurers used to get pretty much instantly mauled the second they stepped out of towns. these days, bright-eyed adventurers are slightly less instantly mauled the second they step out of cities! huge improvement, yeah?
