My boy was terrified of thunderstorms, lightening, and fireworks. He would start trembling when it started to rain. The first time I wrapped him as shown, he fell asleep during the fireworks. Eventually he was able to feel calm enough to get through fireworks. I got a thundershirt for him and he wore that any day there was bad weather in the forecast. Made a world of difference. The wrapping technique originally came from The Whole Dog Journal about 20 years ago. If you don’t have a thundershirt. Snuggly wrapping your dog like this may help keep them calm. Using a long stretchy scarf or other fabric, start under the neck, cross up & over shoulders, down to cross under the chest, then back up around the belly, cross over the back, and tie. Snug but not tight.
Four years old, 10lbs, and adopted less than 2 months ago, this little white, cream, and brown dog has taken on the role of guard/alarm dog. She’s very dedicated. Her little tongue is sticking out as she lies on the floor looking at me. She’s very puppy like in looks and disposition. 💜
Fluffy white dog born deaf 15 1/2 yo still looking like a puppy. She ruled the roost that included another dog and 4 cats. She was incredibly smart. She is dearly missed.

My client, a cook & baker, wanted a bright kitchen, natural light, work space, storage, & a laundry “not in the basement”. A small rarely used 2nd floor balcony was enclosed for a laundry. The 70’s kitchen, needless arch, everything down to the original walls/framing, electrical, & plumbing, gone. 4+ layers of flooring made the counters 1.5” less than 36”. The new kitchen makes full use of the 10.5 x 20’ x 9’H space. A large window floods the room w/ natural light & a garden & pergola view. Cabinets w/ a place for everything, counters continue up the walls, & adjustable LED lights keep it bright. An eating area w/ a bench, a small table, & chairs outfit the bay window. The bar is at the dining room door. The color scheme is the wood & 1 paint color thru out the space in various sheens. Sitting at the table, my client said “I just sit here & look at my beautiful kitchen”. Nothing makes me happier.
Our new addition! “Gently used” little dog sunk into her new super cozy bed. 4 years old. 10 pounds of joy.
Sunnie. Just adopted her yesterday. She 4 years old and all of 10 pounds. She’s perfectly fine with our cats even though she’d never met a cat before. Hoping the cats will feel that way soon too. No aggression. The cats are just pouting in their catio.
Ramzy (L) & Fuma (R). Fuma was a tiny raggedy kitten when she showed up in our garden. She and Ramzy played with each other through the mesh of our catio. They were best friends right away. They are two years apart.
