Didn’t understand why the kids were burning through Joy-Cons on the Switch so often. Turns out it’s a systemic flaw with the joysticks wearing out the carbon film variable resistor. So someone made replacement hall effect sensor sticks that don’t wear out. Super lame that Nintendo designed junk.
