Artistically obnoxious bloom glints off of the Crytek Sponza vines. Filter is an 8 pointed star shape with a vertical "anamorphic" flare.
Bloom on Intel Sponza lanterns. The incorrect green tint is still clear on the main highlight and the blue stripe is looks more pleasing than it should given the kernel color.
More correct FFT bloom output: Top left corner sky is bleeding blueish and bottom right lamp yellowish. At least the lamp should tint more toward red.
Input image to bloom: Just some sky/clouds and illumination from a single lamp.
The top left corner contains the actual image and the rest is padding to the next power of 2 resolution for the FFT. The IFFT output is not normalized so the signal has values ranging from tens of thousands to millions. This visualizes the range from 0 to 0.25 and clamps larger values. The repeating cross artifacts that span the image have values below 1.
