pictured: a mess. thing flipped upside down to show what we were dealing with. back legs of the credenza used dowel joints to connect underneath the piece of furniture. the dowels on one of the legs, however, were broken and needed to be drilled out and replaced with new ones. It took a lot of measuring and some trial and error to get it right.
