this entire talk she did is why she's up there in my favorite artists. she articulated so much of what I believe 😩
If I'm dating a man, I *still* want someone who will try on my clothes, damn it! And has their OWN cute clothes I can wiggle into! "We're doing make up today, honey, which palettes you wanna borrow?" But no, we get gender performances. Protecting your light *and* suffering fools is exhausting.
The trap of gender performance really stifles relationships and the possibilities of what they could be.
