Now, in a select set of states (including my own state of Washington), TRADITIONAL MEDICARE is ALSO using AI algorithms to decide what procedures will or will not be covered. It isn't up to your physician any more, it's up to Musk's AI... Literally sickening.

Then Medicare needs to add Dental, Vision & Hearing without raising our monthly Medicare payments. Who in SS doesn't understand this?

The insurance companies that sell the “Advantage” Plans cost SSA millions of dollars a year in unnecessary administrative costs. When they decide to beat each other by 1 or 2 cents in costs, all the time spent fixing the computer systems & sending out letters comes out of SSA’s budget, not theirs.

Last I knew, Medicare subcontracted a lot of the admin to the same private companies that run Medicare Advantage. Are you sure they're not using AI algorithms for Traditional Medicare authorizations etc. as well? (I've found Trad Medicare even more frustrating to deal with, for both my parents.)
