Both images offer something. Composition is strong, and excellent. I thought I’d like the monochrome better. But I’m drawn to the richness of the tonality in the one on the right. Well done.

I prefer the color version, because it helps me see more details. The gradations of color in the rough stone guide help me see the texture. The wooden window frame stands out as different from the iron bars. However, the monochrome version excels at conveying a cold, harsh prison vibe.

I like mono but even more when it's in color like on the right. I think I'd go for the left one if it was edited to be a little heavier, more stark. No technical reason for either, just my taste.

Colour... Reminds me of a Tijuana jail a "friend" broke out of once or twice... B&W loses that Tijuana for me... 🤔
