This is how fascists win. They make life so painful for so many groups. They create so much anger over things that can’t be fixed quickly that it’s harder for the opposition leader to unify all these groups, since they inevitably don’t belong to most of them… ie Bernie having no juice in the South.
Stacey Abrams is a one hit wonder and not a good example. Lost governor twice and by worse margins the second time.
After the 2020 senate elections in Georgia, there was no question that the democrats needed Stacey Abrams to be the chair of the national committee.

There is no single party monopoly on treating Black people, especially Black people in the South, as a nuisance to be exploited and ignored because of the Electoral College. Smugly dismissing the South as backward and telling people to move is neither winning message nor strategy. It is contempt.
We need to legislate - NO gerrymandering. That there are "safe" seats should offend every American. All of the forces consolidating power and influence need to be taken apart and eliminated permanently. It's well past time we grab at new "tactics" or strategies to solve a persistent systemic fault.
