Gravestone from Grove St Cemetery, New Haven, CT. Transcription: In Memory of Mrs. Lydia Thompson, The amiable Wife of Mr. Jared Thompson, and Daughter of Mr. Obedier and Mrs. Marcy Hotchkiss. She was the Mother of five Childn. She died of the Small Pox March 2d 1793. Aged 32 Years. She lived beloved And died lamented.
