Furthermore, WWE 2K25 was released in the fall of 2024 for current-generation platforms such as the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. There is no new version of the game scheduled for release on July 23. The speculation likely stems from the history of WWE 2K games on Nintendo hardware. The last entry on the platform, WWE 2K18 for the original Nintendo Switch, was widely criticized for severe performance and frame rate issues that made it nearly unplayable.
