There's a Goomy event!
The two main alien neighbors from a 1991 Christmas special "Aliens First Christmas." The wife looks like Lois Griffin from Family Guy, though the show predates Family Guy by almost a decade. Also, between you and me, this screenshot doesn't come from the Christmas Special, but from the other short/episode/pilot/whatever they made called "Aliens Next Door."

DK Jr in the style of Donkey Kong Country. On the left is a sprite I made 7 years ago. It's got aliasing issues, the eyes look bad, and the sprite itself is a bit too big. On the right is a remastered version of the sprite. It's smaller, yet has more detail, and his eyes never get lost. His shirt collar has been pulled up a little, and his shoulder straps never disappear for better visual clarity. Notably he has a J on his onesie, which is missing in the original, and the little strands of hair on his head are more consistent.
