Congratulations to all of the winners of the Atlantisia art contest!!! There were 200 entries, and I know that everyone put many hours (if not days and weeks) of work and emotion into their entries. I’m kind of the worst person to be running something like this because it feels like you’re all my children or students or something and I think everything you do is brilliant, and I admire you all so much, and I haaaate the thought that my choices might leave anyone feeling discouraged. It’s truly a matter of comparing apples to oranges and triangles to squares—it’s completely subjective, and influenced by things like my excitement over a fandom, an intent to showcase entries from all the different categories, and infinite other whims. Someone else would have made entirely different choices, and you might very well be the fruit or shape to win next time. 💚
