The next #SpecScriptShoutOut day will be on March 13th, 2025.
Today's the daaaaay!
An invitation to join in a year-end #SpecScriptShoutOut celebration on December 12th. There are graphics of two party favorus, sparkling stars and a fireworks explosion. What is the goal of #SpecScriptShoutOut? The overall goal is to provide a coordinated opportunity on Bluesky for writers to share good word of mouth about other writers’ excellent scripts. We consistently saw two great benefits come directly from this when we did this on Twitter for five years: It encouraged writers to connect with other writers to trade reads and grow relationships within the screenwriting community. It also acted as a free and open community-based vetting process which reliably highlights solid quality scripts. #SpecScriptShoutOut now runs quarterly, on the second Thursday of March, June, September, and December.
