The reason so many people passionately hate AI is because it is society's way of saying "you don't matter." *You spend 20 years carefully honing your craft, then your CEO who has never done your job says "just run everything through GPT." *You work overtime to build entire systems while every keystroke is logged and coded so that AI can steal your entire work history and replace you. But it's worse than that because you are also on the receiving end of extreme disrespect: *Every time someone sends you an AI message, they are saying "I deserve your time, but you do not deserve mine." We have always been cogs in a machine but AI is now rubbing our noses in it and explicitly telling us the system would be better off without us here at all. And for what? We are optimizing all the joy and purpose out of life and making everything a little bit worse in exchange for almost no benefit. And then people have the gall to pile on and say "adapt or get life behind." Left behind from what?
