We were originally finding ways to relate the design to Pannenkoek's "Seeing the Unseen" video, which used a Pink Coin to visualize hidden objects and positions. We tried thinking of how we could incorporate that into a design, and landed on the Boo Coin. Here are some scrapped concepts we made:
