I already had an idea for implementing the scarecrows from Wii Play's Charge! into Master Cap Challenge, so literally anything is on the table :3c
Red coin mission turns into a 1v1 with Koopa the Quick Jr. (Koopa freerunner like) to collect the most red coins in a time period.
some sort of 'negative coin' or 'evil coin' that takes 1 life from your health which has a chance of spawning during boss fights like bowser
