Robert Johansen @srfbob1.bsky.social · May 7 WWII BC-611 3885 KHz AM walkie talkie repair. It has a number of problems. The first I.F (intermediate frequency) transformer primary winding is open. I will try substituting a replacement transformer.

None of that unreliable PCB construction in there!
Its alive, I replaced the I.F transformers, both were bad, substituted NOS Miller 13-PC1, 13-PC2. Receiver now works, need to use cal fixture at NJARC for receiver RF input and TX output antenna circuit alignment.
