Pebbles and Sam @sshore.bsky.social · Jun 19 The vet team feared no one would take Angel. She had received a Lion cut to expose the affected skin and she looked awful. Fat & 22 yrs old she was a bad prospect for adoption. Likely she would die in a shelter cage.

Something stirred my partner to foster Angel and that evening announced the new fur baby. After a week stabilizing at the shelter Angel came home. Isolated in the guest room, Angel mostly slept, ate and recovered. Of course, the official adoption papers soon went in. Another foster fail!
