Something stirred my partner to foster Angel and that evening announced the new fur baby. After a week stabilizing at the shelter Angel came home. Isolated in the guest room, Angel mostly slept, ate and recovered. Of course, the official adoption papers soon went in. Another foster fail!

Keko, our other cat, was aware but unconcerned so long as he was king of the house. Keko had been with us for 16 years and was facing kidney failure. The two cats met face to face after a month. Angel remained healthy for the next 11 months.
