Keko, our other cat, was aware but unconcerned so long as he was king of the house. Keko had been with us for 16 years and was facing kidney failure. The two cats met face to face after a month. Angel remained healthy for the next 11 months.

Angel lived for only a year. She lived her best life sleeping (and snoring) every night between us. She succumbed to liver cancer at 23. My hope is that I can communicate that hope, and redemption are possible even for a cat that is equal to 108 human years. Next thread we meet Lani.
