Penelokey is sassy and likes to thrash about. Which is very fitting considering the number of pokeballs I had to throw before she played nice with a critical capture and her health in the red. I can’t believe I have 7 Klefkis. What do you even do with that many keys?

I was watching Markiplier play Help Wanted and he just got to the very alarming end at the time of me finding her, but I wouldn't entertain the complete namesake for any iteration of William Afton. Glitch felt...fitting, though!

Shiny Shuppet #4, caught in a Great Ball! All four have been females, which made me check and see if that’s just. A thing. It isn’t, but it made me question. Dora is relaxed and mischievous and appeared while I was watching some Criminal Minds!

And now it is truly official, counting evolutions from the findable 'mon in the Megamart, the only one I need is Mimikyu. Here's to hoping the next three phases show me a kindness.
My husband came in shortly after I encountered this guy saying he just had a bowl of Spaghetti…and I’ve been giving Klefkis nicknames with key in them…so. Spaghettkey! He was another easy catch, super under odds phase, and brings the total number of encounters just below 65000…we’ll be hitting 81920 soon!
This brings the Haunter count up to 6! 6 out of the 14 completed phases…goodness. He was another quick ball catch. Ability is levitate, naturally, and of course we love an under odds phase! Sassy and thoroughly cunning sounds right for a Yokai (solely from Phasmophobia) but I couldn’t even tell you as to why.
Shiny Golbat numero 5 and phase 13 overall on our way to Mimikyu. It was found in the original Moon copy (not the Ultra Moon I added for last phase), so it may have been a little cooked on encounters on its own. Nothing too crazy though, and the quick catch in the quick ball leaves no room to complain. I love these bats, anyhow
Beautiful shiny Shuppet caught in a great ball! She has the ability Frisk and she’s so quick and silly. Soooo the funny thing is I was watching BlueVacktor’s safari week video from last year. I kept meaning to look at Shuppet’s level up moves because I didn’t have a reason to before, but I kept forgetting…until she popped up on my screen. And sure enough, she knows curse. And sure enough? She used it. Called in a friend. I was debating on how mentally prepared I’d have to be to fail her. But luckily she didn’t try to use it again, and caught nicely in the great ball with encounter power active. And, needless to say, I have a Golduck with Soak on my team now. Happy to have you Meli, and how fitting considering today’s Wordle…

Shiny Haunter named after The Twins from Phasmophobia, since he appeared shortly after the tenth phase and could be mistaken for just by appearance alone!
Shiny Haunter named Onryo caught nice and easy in a quick ball. He be levitating. I was only going to do 9 encounters after him for the night to round it out to 7374 encounters so…good timing on his part.
I was thinking to myself the other day that the naming scheme for Glalie would start with the four ghosts from PAC-MAN. It just felt…fitting, since I associate the mega especially with that gaming guy. Blinky is the name of the red ghost, and between the eyes and Valentine’s Day (Happy Valentine’s Day!) I thought it would make the most sense to start there. Blinky is Adamant and hates to lose, so I definitely wouldn’t want to be in a labyrinth with him hunting me down. The ability being inner focus only sells it more, honestly.
Meet Divv! Brave and somewhat vain, and always at the ready to be a star. I’ll be performing in community theatre this week— and I can only presume by her promptness that she stands for the arts. First encounter of the day…I haven’t had that happen, and I couldn’t believe my eyes. I’m just happy I wasn’t too ready to soft reset because if there was ever a time I’d be at risk… I love Pheromosa’s eyes. I love the gradient from white to black of her “outfit.” I think it’s one of the coolest choices Pokémon’s ever made for a shiny, and between this and Minior, I can hope they’ll do more similar experimentations in the future.
I am already so calm to these lovely bats showing up haha. Levi is a level 31 Golbat, caught in a quick ball— perhaps the calm nature matches how I react to these phases now. It’s a bit silly— I thought Haunter was going to be the one I got a bunch of, and while there’s still plenty time for that to be true, Golbat pulls ahead. 4 out of the 9 phases, with the past three bridging the gap
Somewhat vain and timid, and the first of the dragons appears. After two Charjabug, two Graveler, a Mudbray, Dedenne, Togedemaru, and Torkoal…40340 encounters total for the hunt…and caught in my one and only Friend Ball. Vulcan, I love you so so much. Thank you for this journey, and thank you for being a memorable final team member for the Ultra Sun team. First of the Trio DTQs to be set!
Shiny Golbat caught in a heal ball (my second favorite pokèball, fun fact)! He’s brave and has a sturdy body, which makes sense as he’s another test of my resilience in this path to Mimikyu. I honestly love the shiny Zubat line and it was so pleasant to see after a long stretch with nothing shining in the game. Was watching Gremlin’s Lanakila video so shoutout to that ✨

I was honestly hoping a phase for Turtonator would be this little guy, after seeing someone else get him and interact in Refresh…He’s so so cute with so much joy to share with all. Shiny Togedemaru, I’m so happy to run into you today, even if it means I have more of a chance to double up on later phases…
Rash Shiny Cranidos capable of taking hits~ named Blais after the fact (something from my game/book universe. hehe). I was hopeful that all my time spent collecting the 20 fossils would prove worth it and that the shiny would appear in the second half— I got my wish ❤️
Named after something from my in-progress game/book universe— I love the gold and silver for Ho-Oh. I noticed it straight away coming across the screen, and still am in disbelief. I did try a Fast and Lure Ball for fun, but I mainly wanted to bring her home
Shiny Dedenne named Dee Dee. She’s Docile and Alert to sounds, and that characteristic is pretty darn fitting with how I was watching Criminal Minds while hunting off-stream tonight. She has a similar color scheme to Turtonator, so who knows? Maybe a dragon is on the horizon.

Mild Haunter (her special attack stat is pretty stellar, in my unprofessional opinion lol) named after the Japanese word for purple— Murasaki. It sounds very ghostly, for some reason? A part of it may remind me of the word Yokai (shout out Phasmophobia).
Electrolyte the Graveler, has the sturdy ability! (Her brother has Magnet Pull). As scared as I am about the pattern she’s helped to create with these phases, I’m glad she shined. 💜 onto the next
Ula the shiny Charjabug is a lax fella that likes to run. Not too much over odds— but he is the first one on this island to be over odds at all!
Modest Shiny Golbat with Inner Focus and a sturdy body! I love the Zubat line, and I do believe this one will be going to my non-DTQ file in the future to be part of that team. (Also I like the motion blur of the wings in the picture, just noticed that when typing this out)
rogl the VERY lucky shiny Haunter. Named after a stellar friend who loves these ghostly goofs, she’s Bashful and capable of taking hits. Will likely go to the non-DTQ file I have when Mimikyu is found, but we’ll see how things all go down as our journey continues 🩵
