After reading and devouring endless amounts of Star Wars comics over the years, I wanted to share art from all of these different comics: DarkHorse, IDW, Marvel, Manga, Mad, etc. Presented here ‘outta’ context for your enjoyment.

Darth Vader says, “ You… you are drawing infantile cartoons about me!” Sergio exclaims, “Sergio does what Sergio does best” and then goes onto say, “Never has been evil dictator could withstand power of sarcasm and ridicule”
“I can’t understand it, Mark! Where could your friend Sergio have gone?!” says Lucy Wilson while showing (Sergio -not pictured) and Mark around Lucasfilm. Mark responds, “Beats me! Have you seen any immigration officials hanging around?” “They have some new law about deporting dangerous subversives and cartoonists…”
The Emperor sits on the far right, with red banners on the opposing wall that include Mickey Mouse ears on the Imperial Symbol, as a group far off in the distance approaches, the Emperor says, “Don’t Suck Up, It Does not befit a person of your stature.”
The Emperor is seen from a distance with a Disney Mickey Mouse ears on the Empire’s symbol, an imperial guard is seen up close on the left. The dialogue is from the Emperor, “Gentlemen, I’m willing to overlook the many flaws— polar gravitational matrix, equatorial docking, inadequate restroom facilities, but there’s one thing I will NOt stand for.” We don’t get the answer in this panel. But a glowing orb of the Death Star hologram can be seen.
Stormtrooper on the left referring to Darth Vader says, “No wonder he’s so angry all the time. He should really try dealing with his emotions more. Maybe he just needs therapy or something. Without some kind of an outlet, all his inner turmoil will be the death of him. He should take up painting or dance or something.” The stormtrooper on the right responds saying, “ I disagree. That would only serve to preoccupy him. He needs to address issues head-on.” And then adds more by saying “Either way I feel kinda sorry for him.”

Chirrut Îmwe speaking to Baze says, “The Empire started with checkpoints. Now we they will stop and search anyone they don’t like the look of. Resist and they will beat you, and even shoot you. Where does the escalation end?” Baze turns away with nothing to say.
“That’s the problem for as long as the empire remains here we’re trapped in this cycle”Kaya Gimm speaks to Killi Gimm, Chirrut, and Baze. Chirrut responds, “then we must find a way ti break the cycle”. Kaya then says, “Yes, before the cycle breaks us”
