my only experience with star fox ill be quite honest is smash bros however i must be frank with you. i like how freaky they look in this new one. its like, a Good freaky. theres an ugly cute there. also it reminds me more closely of the old stop motion esque models for promos they did. these ones

i have a special fondness in my heart for stylistically ugly. not ugly style, but a style made with the purpose of being a lil ugly. its how i used to draw a lot and it dooooes still have a bit of influence in my style and in my taste in art
