It moves in the air like smoke. Switching to a well fitted N95 mask massively increases protection. Each infection increases your risk of severe complications and developing new chronic conditions. The repeated damage of multiple infections racks up. There are many common things that put you at higher risk. (Eg depression, pregnancy and being a current or former smoker). There are many high risk people out there, that you may be around unknowingly and everyone can be impacted and develop long covid. Kids can get long covid. Masking is a small price to pay for kids' health. A study found that even a small proportion of children wearing masks of any quality to school significantly reduced the chance of cases occurring.
