(2/3) While scar tissue forms in the brain following a stroke to protect against further damage, it also creates a barrier that limits the brain’s ability to regenerate. Dr. Molly Shoichet (@utoronto.ca) is developing a targeted enzyme therapy designed to promote brain repair after stroke.
