Not all ladybugs we see in our gardens are native. I found this Asian lady beetle in my garden today. You can tell by the "W" shape on the white part of its exoskeleton. They're welcome in my garden if they're eating aphids, but I'd like to try to support a native population. ๐Ÿงช๐Ÿฅฝ๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐Ÿ”ฌ๐ŸŒฑ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿž๐Ÿฆ‹

They aren't good for our native lady bugs. I kill them if I see one.๐Ÿคท๐Ÿฝโ€โ™€๏ธ I noticed a sharp decline last year in natives as these popped up. So I did a bit of Googling & apparently they're very aggressive & directly linked to the decline & can carry a parasite that is fatal to our native ones.๐Ÿ’”๐Ÿž
