I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction—indeed, outrage—at the chronic neglect of Bristol’s road infrastructure. The infestation of potholes across this city is not simply a public nuisance. It is a glaring indictment of bureaucratic failure and administrative indifference. This council has had ample time, resources, and opportunity to remedy the decay. Yet residents continue to suffer from vehicle damage, safety hazards, and the sheer indignity of navigating roads more befitting a war zone than a modern British city. This is not mere oversight—it is negligence.
