I'll admit it was disappointing at first, but a part of me realized: I think that's the point. Sometimes someone you love will just disappear when you look away, and you wish you had done more for them. You might think to yourself, "If I followed them, maybe I could've stopped them from doing it." I don't think all abstractions are suicide, but Jax's probably was. But on the bright side, at least his macroverse counterpart is okay. I feel bad that Gooseworx gets so much hate for what she made though, since even despite the flaws in episode 9 I thought it was good.
