Just some 40-something who likes to make weird things. Also, I have a LOT of cats.

A barely started cross stitch in Aida fabric. I believe it is called oatmeal. Most of the space is empty, because I mean it when I say it’s barely started. Two eyes and a beak are within a round head. Eventually, it will be a cute owl. I promise to finish it eventually.
A finished cross stitch on light blue Aida fabric. The outlines of 5 candles appear over swatches of the trans colors. It has been washed and ironed and the nasty yellow stain on the bottom is gone. Always wash your hands before stitching. You’d think I’d know that by now. This took 19 hours to stitch. Time well spent.

The little guy under that card is unfinished and stitched so badly it refuses to show its face.

A pink morel-ish shaped one has an octagon window. All of the mushrooms are spotted with various unrealistic colors. From the house’s right side grow two long stemmed mushrooms, twisted around each other. One is purple. The other is brownish yellow with a wide flat top covered in a multitude of colorful spots. The crooked triangle chimney sticks out of its top, but there’s no smoke. Whoever lives here apparently really REALLY loves mushrooms.

20 different little cross stitch charms rest on a table. There is a collection of magic potions, wizard spellbooks, and nerdy D&D dice. They’ve all got a double line of hand stitching around their borders. A double loop jump ring is sewn into the top of each, with a Christmas ornament hook attached. These had been used on a Christmas tree in a cat-filled home. They are covered in the specialty fibers known as cat fur.
