This standing custom design is a fluffy little dragon with lots of hand sewn stripes and various other details. Lots of piercings and accessories, including studded collar and bracelets, and arm/leg warmers.
Image Description: A dark cavern with luminescent blue mushrooms scattered along the walls. In the dark, a gleam of light shines from an unusual artifact. A glowing ring upon the long, twisting tail of a large, vaguely simian like beast. Its emaciated ribs shown by the bright glow within its chest. A glow that runs up through its body, fanned out through its six listening ears, and hissed through its breath with an almost radioactive hue. The Shadowbeast concept turns LiuEr Mihou, Macaque, into something far more sinister. These dark beasts reside within the deep dark of the underground world, coming up to the surface to hunt. Amalgamous and shape changing, the beasts will take the form of creatures/demons/animals/etc that they encounter upon the surface world to better blend in and get close to their prey. Their chosen form becomes permanent upon maturity and allows them to wander about in daylight. However, they can transform into their true, monstrous forms at ease. Most shadowbeasts, while vaguely resembling certain species all share a few specific traits; including but not limited to a large, emaciated, or disfigured body (extra limbs or appendages are not uncommon), black fur/skin color, and bioluminescent blood/insides. Their hunting methods disrupted the reincarnation cycle, as they would also devour the souls of their victims, leaving nothing to return to the wheel. Thus much of their kind was actively hunted down by the heavens and forced to retreat deep into the earth. The ring upon Macaque's tail is a celestial artifact (appearing as a gold band in his simian form). It conceals his true nature to prying eyes, and prevents his mind from being read.
Semi left side view. This Sakura fox has a lot of color matched airbrushing to blend in larger pieces of pink fabric. The whole design was somewhat blended color wise. The combination of colored fur and airbrushing allowed for larger swaths of color without bogging down the texture with paint.

This gorgeous tutulong features a bleeding heart "wound" with dagger insert, handmade crown with floral accents, handprints eyes, and airbrushed details. Tutulongs are a dragon/bunny creature usually featuring antler like horns, two sets of ears (this one only retains the bunny ears and has devil style horns) and 3 fox like tails. This design is made by recycling the remains of a store bought one, as we have no means of casting/printing the facemask ourselves.
Name: 'Ginger' (Jiang Hou) Age: ? He stopped aging at age 7 (adult for a rhesus Macaque) when he became a yaoguai (demon). Height: 3'9" (~114 cm) Gender: Male. uses he/him, they/them. Species: Monkey Hybrid (primarily a mix of Rhesus Macaque and Humbolts Squirrel Monkey.) Diet: Omnivore. - Primarily nuts, fruit, greens, and insects. Element: Wind Personality: Relatively cheerful and outgoing, however he is flighty and skittish. He will prioritize his survival over others. Is always seeking out creature comforts (As he was devoid of most of them in his youth). Key notes: Ginger was a lab animal who became a yaoguai. Anatomy wise, he is less hominid and more based on his animal/simian origins. He is still roughly the size of a standard macaque, with similar proportions and posture when standing upon his hind legs. He prefers to stand bipedal, but will switch to all fours when running, etc. This is going off the concept that demons and spirits become more human like the closer they come to enlightenment or power. Ginger himself is neither enlightened, powerful, or of any celestial importance. He became a demon out of necessity for survival and has since been travelling to find his lot in life. The dark markings snaking up his limbs and tail are meant to represent that demon nature intertwining/corrupting him with its essence.

Two custom plush toys sit upon the work desk; sewing machine behind them. One plush is a full custom of a grey squirrel with hummingbird wings of blue and purple. The other plush is a standing custom of a tiger wearing a crown, gray t-shirt, and cargo shorts.
This plush head will be for a standing custom of a tiger.(airbrushing will come later) Currently just figuring out the basic shapes and putting them together to get the look I'm going for. Hand sewing gives me more control over what I do or don't like about how its piecing together. Its more sculpture vibe than just following a pattern.

The fluff layers of a Little style plush. I prefer to use 1" pike length, or teddy fur for most of my plush projects. Beaver length, while shorter, has a different texture to it; smoother, softer, and the mesh has more stretch. I prefer the textures between the body and head to match to keep a consistent feel to the fur. Plus it gives me leeway if I need longer body fur in spots. Long pile furs are usually reserved for larger plushies or for longer hairstyles. Thougb they tend to be a bit unruly for my tastes. I also do some preemptive shaping of the fur around the face and cheeks. Though I usually have to go back and do some final clean up. Once I have everything shaped out I can mix and match colors and combine pieces to give spots/stripes, etc. The real challenge is how tiny the bodies are; they're about 3.5" (~9cm) tall. The head takes up over half the plush's overall size for that chibi look.
After updated facial reshaping. His mouth is still a bit askew, but its less visible now. The base was second quality.

The background is a mix of various stencils, stamps, and other designs collaged together into a washi tape style mix. The image itself is a bit lighter than its initial color scheme. But this is due to needing to use CMYK for printing purposes. Most printers do not like darker shades. Thus such subtle hues can only be viewed upon the computer. I may make a simplified render of this design for an enamel pin too. It just looks fun.
The ginger monkey sits upon a bed in a half lit room, blanket draped over his shoulders and that of his children. Upon his lap, the heavy leather binding of an old book rests, pages opened to one of its many passages. Upon its cover in gold script, reads the title of a journey to the west. He reads aloud, drawing the attention of the two youngsters to the story upon its pages. A tale as old as time, of a monkey, a monk, and his other companions on their journey to obtain holy scriptures.

Custom standing plush monkie. A prime example of a standard custom (one/two fur colors) with a complex outfit; multiple layers, 3+ colors, undershirt, robe, and decorative sash with embroidered accents. This plush stands approximately 15" tall.

Bits and bons lay scattered near his feet while he works. --------- Since our current table events are small and relatively local (at this time), we're opening up limited time ordering on our convention exclusive plushies! These will still be 'made to order'/preorder so please note lead times accordingly!

A small orange monkey draped in blue robes. His fur is saturated with deep amber hues, fading into dark chocolate upon his limbs and spiraling to the top of his tail. Contrasted with the plume of cream colored fur that fluffs his cheeks and ruffles his neck.
Base sketch, front and back profile of the Ginger monkey. His pose and overall anatomy has been adjusted to be more simian in nature. Old concepts felt too human with an animal head for my liking. His facemask is a brown gray that covers the top of his nose and goes over the backs of his ears. His coloring(though not pictured here) will remain about the same with amber hues and deep chocolate spirals that are near black except in the sun. The swirls themselves lore wise represent the yaoguai nature that has twisted his soul and changed him from a mere animal into something more. He still has brown scillera with bright gold irises. Occasionally sporting teal eye liner if he's in the mood.
Most of the costume elements involved with these plushies require tedious planning out and hand stitching to get the desired look and fit. Figuring out how to get all the armor pieces onto the body was an initial challenge. Though due to its complexity, it is not a removable outfit. There are 13 embroidered pieces on this plush from a total of six different files. Some of which have to be give a second pass. Some minky fabrics don't cooperate well with smaller files and otherwise vanish in the material, or look incomplete. Its a LOT of work. But the end result is worth it!
A gaggle of Black Myth Wukong plushies in development upon my scratched up sewing table. They will each be receiving their own armor set with finalized embroidery designs. The one on the far left is the design prototype. I hold onto prototypes as a layout design and reference for new plushjes based on the initial design. DestinedOne prototype is there for shits and giggles. But I hope to have a few updated versions of him for the upcoming spring table event.

At the mouth of a mountain cave, a dark furred monkey washes himself in the waterfalls. Six ears detect your presence, and he turns to look over his shoulder towards you. Do you join him?
