A trio of rosettes of Ruby Slippers Echevaria, one faces the viewer, two behind. The leaves are an olive green where they are new, and the edges turn deep red, then the whole leaf as sun stress increases. The entire plant is covered in a thick velvety fuzz, so the light and shadows are diffuse and it seems to glow. These leaves are also touched with gold leaf at the edges.
A digital painting, extended branches come from a central point of this green, pointy succulent, euphorbia stenoclada. The branches have smaller branches, which extend many hooks and points. The points have been highlighted with gold leaf.
An odd little plant, euphorbia japonica is an almost crystaline, rock like looking orb with pointed extensions that can sprout leaves or other, smaller orbs. The top of this one has sprouted a lovely spray of long, light weight, pointed leaves in a brilliant green. The bottom of the orb growth is corked over- cork happens with age and sun. It’s a light tan. The more actively growing areas of the orb are a green similar to the leaves. These tend to grow in clusters.
A sempervivum or hen and chicks with many thin, pointed leaves in a dense rosette. The leaves have a green flush at the base, Sun stress to yellow and then finally a rosy red at the tip. These tips have also been accented with gold leaf. It’s very festive.

A dark blueish gray with greenish cast towards the shadows when sun-stressed, echevaria “Blue Metal” is one of a kind. This simple, elegant rosette has brushes of gold leaf along the edges of its leaves.

Echevaria Silver Star is a rosette of many layers of extremely elongated teardrops with extended spikes on their ends. It is a medium green, but grows pale and gains red at the tips of the spikes as it sun stresses. This one’s spikes are edges in gold leaf.
Cotyledon orbiculata "silver waves" is an almost abstract looking painting of a succulent bleached a pale gray to white in the sun. The leaves are large and wavy, tiered around a central stem. The wavy edges have been adorned with gold leaf.

Aeonium Sunburst looks almost like a dahlia flower, except the petals are leaves. These are cream, with yellow accents towards the center, and every leaf has a gray green stripe down the center. There are two rosettes, one almost head size, the other much smaller.
Kalanchoe tomentosa 'Chocolate Soldier' has long oval leaves with scalloped edges. It’s mint green with reddish brown spotting along the edges of the scallops. The leaves are covered in a short fuzz that catches the light. This is a painting on chocolate brown background.
Sedum Adolphii or shooting star is bright lime Green with copper edges on the leaves. This 3 branched specimen is on a dark navy background to offset the lime. There is gold leaf edging the leaves.
An ice plant succulent in a Kelly green that looks almost symmetrical in growth with pyramidal shaped leaves. At the top near the middle is a butter yellow flower that almost looks like a dandelion. Every leaf and the flower have been lightly guilded with gold.
