I have one specific memory of this show. They got back the first pictures of the alien planet, in what I guess was a one-shot deal. Protagonist gets called into head dude's office and is shown pictures of stuff. Due to the fact it is missing pertinent meta data about scale size, the pictures are deemed worthless. Protagonist was shown a picture of a grain of pollen and asked something like- "Could this be a building?" and something was said like- "No, dumbass, that's a grain of pollen." I like to think that memory has helped me remember to keep things in perspective. But I still forget to do that sometimes.
