I have to tell you, I was excited. I was thinking, "Oh boy, I bet they left me twenty bucks, or maybe even forty," which would have just tickled me pink. I thought Id have enough to pay for the chili, at least, and so I was really happy at the notion of having twenty bucks. I went in there, lifted up the jar... and there was four thousand dollars there! And so let me tell you people something right now—I love the Insane Clown Posse! The next retirement match I have, they're going to be in the semi-final! They're the greatest band in the world, and I have all their records. Haven't got around to listening to them yet, but I have them here somewhere.

Driven by fierce gusts of wind, the rain came down in blinding sheets, but Alexander could make out the castle's welcoming lights through the blur of streaming water and he knew the way as well as he knew anything. He quickly found the narrow bridge that spanned the moat and crossed it, careful not to slip on the wet stonework and wind up as food for the moat monsters. He was relieved to see that the main gate was open, the portcullis drawn up, its iron teeth barely visible. Entering the sheltering recess beyond the portcullis, he met the lone guard, Henry by name, who stood there clutching his halberd, rain beaded in his beard. "Good evening, Prince Alexander," the man said. "You chose a poor day to go out walking, as it turns out." "Yes, as it turns out," Alexander said. "It was sunny when I started out this morning. Who'd have guessed the day would end like this?' "Not I, certainly. I've never seen a storm come on so quickly. Not a storm this bad, anyway." A sharp, cold gust of wind blew in through the gate, and Alexander did his best to suppress the shiver that it brought him. "Well, I'd better go in, before I catch my death," he said, moving past the other man. "Take care, Henry. Try not to get too wet."
