Hey everyone! I’m Mareike, and I’m currently open to new opportunities in Social Media Management. I'm available for remote roles across Europe or hybrid positions in the Cologne, Germany area. 💼🌍

After 13 years in web development, I decided to pursue my true passion: social media! 🚀
I completed an 8-week full-time course and became a certified social media manager, which led to me landing a position at Toplitz Productions, the publisher best known for Medieval Dynasty 🏰

There, I worked for 9 months creating content, managing channels, collaborating with creators, and editing all the short-form content across their game portfolio. 🎬✨

Unfortunately, due to the performance of some 2024 releases, several of us were let go, but I’m eager and ready to bring my skills, creativity, and empathy to a new team! 🌱

Hello @Little Kraken,

I've decided to take April off from streaming. My mental health is at a low point, and streaming is no longer the happy place it used to be. Instead of bringing me joy, it has been affecting my self-esteem.

My plan is to return for my birthday stream on May 3rd, but I don’t want to make any promises. I need time to reflect and figure out if—and how—I want to continue as a streamer. In the meantime, I’ll be exploring other creative outlets.

The Golf with Your Friends community night is still happening.

Hey Little Kraken,

I wanted to share something that's been on my mind. I’ve been really strict about sticking to horror content because that’s what you’re supposed to do to grow - stay consistent with your niche. But honestly? That hasn’t really been working for me. And if I’m not growing anyway, why not shake things up and focus on having a better time?

Don’t worry, I still love horror and I’ll definitely keep playing it! But I also want to give myself permission to stop when I’m just not feeling it, instead of forcing myself to push through when my heart’s not in it. So you might see more just chatting streams or cozy games pop up every now and then - things that make me happy and bring me those sweet endorphins.

At the end of the day, I need streaming to be my source of joy. If it stops being that, I might end up stepping away entirely — and I really don’t want that. So I’m gonna experiment a bit and see what clicks. Thanks for sticking with me through all of this. You all mean the world to me, and I hope you’ll enjoy this journey, no matter where it takes us.
