Nessa Carson @supersciencegrl.co.uk · May 7 Just seen this odd skincare ad. Can a peptide really be blue?! On looking it up, it's actually a Cu complex of Gly-His-Lys. (The model calling it a blue peptide also used a very obvious, undeclared video filter that flickered off and on when he moved his head, and I'm pretty sure that's illegal...)

Simplest occams razor suggests that the blue is meant to be evocative of breaking bad
Not sure if this is a good idea, as copper complexes often do dioxygen activation with generation of radicals, which is possibly exactly the opposite of being good to your skin 🤔 Would be fun to put this stuff in the EPR, though 😀
