This is so sad. My family lived in Boulder when I was 6 years old (1979!) when my dad was doing a sabbatical at UC Boulder and he used to take us occasionally to see the Cray supercomputer at NCAR. NCAR was the first paying customer of Cray because they had such intense computational needs!
