While the outside petals are open almost flat, the center of the rose is still wound up pretty tightly, creating a beautiful pink spiral. The surrounding roses are in soft focus. Some are the same type as the central rose, and a couple others are yellow.

A 19-second video taken as I approached the base of Wahkeena Falls. At the beginning of the video, just the base of the falls is visible with the water flowing over the last tier into a rocky pool. As the camera moves further around the base of the waterfall, the chasm appears, the water coming down a narrow curved passageway between moss-covered cliff walls.

A fierce tyrannosaurus rex roars from the ferns and undergrowth along a forest trail. His mouth is open wide, revealing large white teeth and a blood red tongue. T-rex was created from bark and driftwood by scultor Joe Treat, and resides in the Price Sculpture Forest near Coupeville, Washington.

An art installation by glass artist, Dale Chihuly, consists of brilliantly colorful blown glass balls and flower-like blown glass creations arranged in a miniature wooden Finnish rowboat. The arrangement sits on black glass which creates a perfect reflection of the bright red, blue, orange, and green glass pieces.

In a high school production of "Fiddler on the Roof" 9 young men in costume are gathered together on the stage, raising their mugs in a toast, TO LIFE!
