If I ever finish making a game, I would 100% sell it as a physical edition. I’d love to sell it in a bookshelf-sized box too, with custom art and a thick manual like they used too (I grew up on military flight sims in the 90s)
oh yeah that's a really fun idea. the world needs more jewel case releases. indie games should be doing that

Yes please. A ton of PC indie games in Japan still get physical releases like this and I think SoM games deserve that treatment, even if demand is low.
