Played a few #boardgames over the last few days. Up first is Expeditions. Didn’t go over well. Didn’t like how locked away some of the actions are. Yes, you can vanquish to open them or pray to the market row gods for a card shows up, but meh. Yes, expansion fixes some issues, but still meh.

Aww, that's a shame. I rather enjoy this one.
I love Scythe. I found Expeditions middle of the road and hugely disappointing. There must be a solid card game in there somewhere but I haven’t found it.
I was surprised how much I liked this and even how much the Scythe theme came through. #boardgames
