UPPER TRUCKEE RIVER Sunset Stables, Reach 6 Project PUBLIC SITE WALKS Monday, Sept. 8, 3 pm Wednesday, Sept. 10, 6 pm Meet at Elks Club Property, 1635 Elks Club Drive The California Tahoe Conservancy wants to hear from you as we plan the Upper Truckee River Sunset Stables, Reach 6 Project, which will include habitat restoration with conifer removal on Conservancy land south of the Lake Tahoe Airport. Details: Park on Elks Club Drive near U.S. Highway 50. Meet at the picnic table by the kiosk next to the river. Accessibility: The event will include a short walk on trails. The trails will be on uneven surfaces and might require stepping over roots, rocks, or logs. For more information, visit tahoe.ca.gov/sunset.
