Yesterday the county told the Rays they won't be able to meet 6/1 deadline but there's still a special call city council workshop on for 5/5 related to the MOU. Then I read this today at lagacetanewspaper.com

To be clear, that's from a memo issued by the county administrator. The piece is currently on the home page but it's print only and no guarantees it stays on home page indefinitely.
Council member @lynnhurtak.com motioned to cancel the workshop after consultation with City Attorney Scott Steady yesterday. Council Chair Alan Clendenin argued the workshop should go forward suggesting because he's on the TSA Board he has more insight into the negotiations. Clendenin got his wish.
