Where exactly do we think we're going with proprietary AI? Why is anyone cheering on #Anthropic or #OpenAI? Where does a proprietary-AI future leave us? Dependents of an AI-mega corp for our "facts"? Our software? Our work?

Nobody wants the road proprietary AI leads to. Open source AI is the only way to go. We need Open Source models to start *LEADING* proprietary models instead of lagging.
