In the short term, most people won't be able to make their own frontier AI. They will be forced to use China's. Iron Curtains wouldn't prevent it, just lead to Soviet collapse.

. @satyanadella is right that having one company win isn't the answer. But a dozen AI silos is also not the answer because people will seek frontier AI from whoever supplies it. The country that deprives its people of that AI will lose to those that don't.
