There's every chance that 2028/29 will be the first year that we haven't had one of either Star Trek and/or Doctor Who on TV/movie screens in some form... since 1963. Yikes. (Stargate for flavour.)

Oh yeah, that's already been a thing since the news came down about Doctor Who. For the first time since mid 1963, neither franchise is in production. During their respective hiatuses the other was in production in some capacity. That's NOW. 2028 is possible we get some Doctor Who back, 1/2
