I got a new tattoo today and he used second skin, but it peeled off on the way to the train. How best to clean it and re-cover?

thinking of getting a small ornamental tattoo with a similar placement to what’s in these pictures. i have one tattoo on my ankle and i like the idea of people only being able to see it when i choose to. any thoughts on design? i know theres not a lot that can really fit here but open to suggestions! I’ve had this tattoo for 6 years and loved it at first. The longer I have it, the more I can’t stop thinking that I’d be better off without it. I’m not 100% happy with it because I have a few blowouts, but I keep trying to tell myself that it’s still beautiful because it's handmade and not from a perfect machine, you know what I mean? My favorite poem is i carry your heart with me by ee Cummings, been thinking of having it tattooed in my right calf, is this a good idea? Would it look weird? Also if I do it what size should I look for to make it redable.

Ok - Posting again with more pics of the tattoo! I love my new tattoo! It is 10 days old and it has been peeling heavy these past days! Today I noticed some spots are faded dramatically! I do take care of it! I pit gel “mad rabbit” for tattoos mornings and evenings and I always wear my 50 UPF shirt when I leave the house! Today I notice some places are so faded and a little star is completely gone! Im here so see if anyone had similar experience? Will the color be more present after 6 weeks fully healed? I’ve had this tattoo for 6 years—I got it when I was 18 (I’m 24M). I remember the tattoo artist was really careless, he was flirting with a girl while working on it. Do I regret the tattoo? Yes, but it’s part of my childhood and teenage years, so that’s that, I have to accept it.

The problem is that for the past month, it’s started itching and becoming raised—developing bumps—and the main issue is the intense itching. I apply cold compresses, but I feel like tearing it right off my leg; it’s stressing me out a lot. In the past, I only had issues with it during the summer—it would itch and become slightly raised then, too, but it happened rarely and wasn't that bothersome. Now it’s worse than ever. What should I do?

I was thinking to cover it with a SICK ASS PANTHER, or maybe something else, but I’m not sure if tattooing over it would be a good ideea

I got this tattoo a year ago as a mommy/baby tattoo. I loved the design and colors but when it was finished I noticed the top turtle is “smiling” while the bottom turtle looks to be “frowning”…I know they’re drawn to be realistic but it actually makes me hate the tattoo lol

You could say this is a little..... Embarrassing.

Typed it out all by myself, showed multiple people, tattoo artist didn't notice. Didn't notice myself until immediately after it was finished.

I've asked a few people to spot the mistake and a lot don't notice.

It's kinda funny but what should I do? Been getting tattoos for 12+ years and NEVER made a mistake like this in my life :))

I recently got a tattoo with my mom that was meant to be semi-matching. we both got the same bee, but had different placement and main flower designs. I wanted a symmetrical honeysuckle on my hips/stomach with the bee to the side of one of them. I knew the bee would make it off balanced and not fully symmetrical, however, I still wanted the flowers to be symmetrical. It took the artist a couple tries to get it right, and I even had her move it because it was too on the bone in comparison to the other. I asked if it looked good, they both said yes. it looked good to me at the time. admittedly, I could’ve been more picky about it. after it was done, I realized it’s almost fully off the marker she made (which is slightly visible in comparison to the other) like damn near a full inch to the left of it. it also appears to be angled more. my mom insists no one will notice, and maybe that’s true, but it’s incredibly noticeable to me, the person whose body it’s going to be on forever. i’m just so pissed off because I don’t understand why she would make the mark just to move it?? i even had her move it closer to the marker and I almost feel like she tattooed the original stencil. idk what to do. is my only option to wait for it to heal and eventually get laser? i’m just so sad because this was meant to be a good experience with my mom. This was my first tattoo I got at 19. Went to a shop that had done some work for my aunt and I personally think it could have been done so much better especially for the amount the artist charged. This is what it currently looks like now and the second photo is what it looked like when I got it done 6 years ago

I got this bison tattoo a few months ago. I work in healthcare and have been getting a lot of comments from patients (mostly older people). so this is my first tattoo, and i got it 4 days ago, i clean with qv wash gently and dont scratch or rub it with towels or anything and i put the light layer of thr cream they gave me. so im just worried because it looks like specks of ink just came out and im not sure if theyre supposed to.

I got a tattoo of Pickle Rick when I was 22 years old. I thought it was hilarious. I was also super into Rick and Morty show.

I’m 30 now and even though I think it’s a funny one, and makes some people laugh when they see it, I don’t like that if I want to wear something cute and girly, I feel like it completely ruins the vibe and I don’t like how it looks.

Hey there, I got this traditional bat tattoo a few months ago to represent my journey through some dark times in my life. But since I got it I’ve been struggling to like it and it’s been making me feel very self conscious, even though some friends told me it looks good I’ve just been in my head a lot about it. I’ve had laser years ago on some old pieces I didn’t like but they were a lot lighter then this one and I really don’t want to go through that process again. Hello! Just looking for a bit of advice. I got this flower done and it bled a LOT under the tattooing. I felt fine but the artist was a bit worried about it and told me to watch it carefully.
None of my other tattoos bled at all getting done so i wanted to know if there was anything in particular to look out for with a tattoo that’s bleeding quite a bit.

I got hip/side tattoos from an artist and both sides are supposed to be varied but the same shape or form if you know what I mean. It’s not that really noticeable if I shift to any angle but dead on, I feel like it’s off. Is this something that other people will really notice. I got a matching tattoo with my stepmom last week and I’m not the most happy with it. It’s my 8th tattoo and currently my least favorite. It’s not centered (I feel like this is both my artist and my fault), the line work isn’t the most clean and I’m worried about legibility of the text. I’m really just looking for any general advice for what I can do to make it look better. Is it possible to get it touched up without losing the design? My daughter used to draw this type of bird for a while, and I’ve always loved them. She’s 15 now, and I’m thinking about getting this bird tattooed somewhere on my body—not too visible, maybe on the inside of my arm or below my ribs. A couple of cm, only the outlines, no colours. Is this cringey?

I had this cover-up done three months ago, and lately I’ve been pretty torn about it. I have clean, traditional tattoos on my arms, and I think I want to stick with that style for my legs in the future, too. Now I’m unsure if it goes well with the vase, since it has ornamental elements. The leaves, in particular, take up quite a bit of negative space, which I unfortunately didn’t consider beforehand. That means I only have my front leg left, and the calf and sides are taken up by that one design.

On top of that, I’ve been thinking lately that it looks too feminine and pretty strange from the side (third picture).

I just got this tattoo a few days ago and immediately regretted the size. I expected something completely different, stylistically and the amount of room it’d take up on my arm. I went in thinking I would come out with something half the size, but the artist understandably could only go so small. Do not drink all day on the beach and decide a tattoo is a good idea. You could come home with this lol. Don’t really regret it and there’s definitely no covering it up but I just know that shop has sent so many people home with similar crap and I’d bet most people would care a whole hell of a lot more than I do so psa to think before you drink with a pocket full of cash. I got these done around 2 months ago and I hated the second it was done. They were supposed to be small, more like fine line. I was told it could be done but by the time he finished the first butterfly (by the flowers) I knew it was ruined. I should have said stop for the first one and been upset and instead I let it be finished and every day I see them and absolutely regret it. I’m thinking of doing removal but I always wanted butterflies flying up my leg.
Is removal really the best option? They look out of place and almost ruin / do ruin the flowers (the flowers mean a lot to me and the butterflies now make the flowers look undone)

$My girlfriend's tattoo was done on Wednesday. She followed the same after care routine I do (wash with antibacterial soap and moisturize \~2 times per day). I have a lot of tattoos and never had a problem. She got it done by the same artist I use, too. Looks like some sort of discolored coating around the bottom half. I've never had any of mine look like this during the healing process. I received a recommendation to let it dry out (no soap or moisturizer) for the next day or so and monitor to make sure it doesn't get worse. Is that the best option? Any other ideas?
